Anima comes from the Latin word for “breath,” “soul,” or “spirit.” This live performance traces the story of the soul — from the silence before creation to the birth of the universe, life, and human form.

It explores both the outer journey of creation and the inner journey we each take toward self-understanding and enlightenment. It’s a reflection on where we come from, what we carry within us, and how we continue to evolve.

Inspired by Portals — a collaborative artwork hand-painted by more than twenty people under the guidance of artist Clara Rival — Anima transforms a collaborative painting into movement.
