Learning to trust the unknown

Group Exhibition
Winter 2026
Experimental Making Lab

March 5, 2026

we stepped bravely into the unknown — learning to trust that with every step, the path would reveal itself.

“Learning to Trust the Unknown” was a co-created exhibition exploring the unknown in real time.

We had a loose structure but intentionally kept space for live improvisation and the unexpected. The audience participated and explored the unknown with us through movement and creation.

It combined live painting, improvised dance, readings, film, and the special essence of the unknown.

This exhibition was co-designed by 6 participants who completed MINCA’s 8-week Experimental Making Lab. It was their expression of what they felt and learned along the way.

Thank you to the participants for your courage and creativity in designing this exhibition, and for trusting in the MINCA methodology: Micheline Zamora, Philip Cherukara, Emma Blankenship, Salma Flambert, Rashan Smith, and Chas Stewart.
